A downloadable game for macOS

City Walker is a minimalist 2D side-scrolling experience set in a neon-lit urban nightscape.

Step into a glowing city where movement, atmosphere, and visual rhythm take center stage. Designed as a focused exploration of player feel and environment, the game emphasizes smooth horizontal traversal and immersive lighting over complex mechanics.

This project is part of my journey into game development, built entirely in Unity as a solo prototype.

Install instructions

💾 Download & Installation (macOS)

  1. Download the .zip file from this page
  2. Extract (unzip) the file
  3. Open the folder
  4. Double-click City Walker.app to launch the game

⚠️ macOS Security Notice

If you see a warning like:

“City Walker.app cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer”

Do the following:

  1. Right-click the app
  2. Click Open
  3. Click Open again in the popup

This only needs to be done once.

📝 Notes

  • No additional installation or libraries are required
  • Tested on macOS (Intel & Apple Silicon)
